application, you should see what I hike with when out with the boys
(approaching age 7, for the recently inducted). It's probably similar to
the hugeness you might find in your car's trunk. And, at least in the
first few days, we'll use it alllll. And frequently.
### But then, too, it's not a throughhiker's first aid kit. It expects
(for example) lots of small trauma. And you know what, too? After 3-4 days
in the woods, mysteriously, there's LOTS less call for first aid
attention... So ... maybe you should start *any* hike, even a through,
with a boatload to get you through the shakedown period.....
