I don't use a whisperlight, how ever I have seen a lot of them in use. The
only time I seen people having problems with one. The problem turn out to be
human error. Most of those problems came from trying to use auto gasoline. Me
I use a MSR XGK stove, it will burn all most any liquid fuel. Used it on
three thru-hikes without any problems. You would not use the term whisper
with it.
