Re: [at-l] More Whisperlite input



The o-ring issue brings up an important point- always check your stove over 
(take it apart, put it together) before setting off into the woods. I didn't, 
and an flash of fire between the fuel bottle to the stove was the result. 
Thankfully I'd lighted the stove on the ground, NOT on the shelter floor. Had 
to throw dirt on it until I put the fire out. Scared the hell out of me.

Now I use an Esbit or a canister stove. Any possibility of leaky fuel makes 
me nervous after THAT incident.
