At the begining of the hike, after that it was more like 7 to 10 days for me.
I like to stay out of towns as much as possible. The first town I went into
on by two northbound thru-hikes was Hot Springs, NC.
Started with food for 4 days.
Resuppled at
Neels Gap. Mosty from a drop box.
Rainbow Springs, NC. Added a few things.
Wesser, NC. Added a few things.
Fontanta Dam, NC. Mail drop. The only place where you should realy have a
food drop.
Hot Springs, NC. Major resupply.
