RE: [at-l] bikes on trail

Blowdowns have to be strategically placed and low enough for a hiker to 
step over.  Otherwise the bikers, and hikers too, will just go around, 
doing damage to the sides of the trail or cutting new trail.  Maybe one 
of those parking lot devices that slash tires, about halfway down the 
bikers' favorite bombing run would discourage them.
