Re: [at-l] external pack question

I've never used either pack, but took a look at http://www.kelty.com/.
The West Coast at 7lb 5oz is much too heavy but the frame and suspension
looks good. The Trekker is a more reasonable size and it's a pound and a
half lighter. The "classic" H frame might not carry a heavy load as
comfortably, but I'm sure you don't intend to carry a heavy pack :-) So
you save a pound and a half or have a little better suspension system and
more room for gear. Either pack looks good in a picture. If you can try
them on with a load of the type of gear you'll be packing.
