[at-l] external pack question

I have been searching for a pack for three to four day hikes, and possibly 
longer in the summer time.  I found two kelty models, the trekker, and the 
west coast, both of which are $99.  Has anyone used either of these packs 
before?  if so, what are your thoughts on them.  I have hiked many day hikes 
on the AT, but this will be my first overnight pack, so any thoughts, 
positive or negative will be appreciated.  Thanks.
