NEW DELHI (Oct. 19) - An Indian butcher who set up shop in a public bathroom 
has threatened to dump pig entrails on to the streets if his sausage business 
is closed down, The Statesman newspaper said on Thursday.

''I will throw entrails, guts, blood and even worse on the streets now,'' the 
paper quoted Rakesh Kumar as saying after he was arrested and then released 
on bail for slaughtering in an open area of New Delhi's Wazirpur district.

''Let me see what the police or these residents can do. All I made is a small 
shack for my pigs which is not a crime.''

The paper, which carried a photograph of a pig sleeping soundly on 
filth-strewn ground at the entrance to the toilet, said a local Municipal 
Corporation of Delhi official denied all knowledge of squatters in public 
conveniences.
