People also shoot alot it seems for round numbers as 
in March 1, March 15, April 1, April 15. If one avoids

the round numbers and perhaps shoots for a weekday 
rather than a weekend day, its still possible
to be slotted between crowds and therefore not in a 
crowd. Of course, people also tend to bunch up around 
towns for some reason and can throw off any of your 
best attempts at some point or another.
