[at-l] bivy vs. tent

A question raised about the hammock also raised a question about my bivy.  
Yes, it's lighter than my tent, but how do I get in or out of it without 
soaking everything if it's raining?  Seems like I'd have to get in soaking 
wet and then get all my dry stuff (ie sleeping bag) wet in the process.  I 
guess the same pretty much holds true for a tiny tent vestibule as well.
