This was a definite "Z". All lines stopped where they met other lines. and,
it was too close to the horizon to have been from jets. I had wondered about
the oldtime 'skywriting' (do they do that anymore?). That is why I thought
maybe a radio promo. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. And,
hey...I've seen some strange things.

Another strange thing: When you're hiking, as soon as it gets dark, it seems
late. This happened as the sun was setting. So, that meant it was before 6
p.m. It always seems like it is after midnight once the sun goes down and
you're on the Trail...don't it?
