Not that this would apply to any of the hikers on this list...but one thing
that isn't often discussed when we discuss Flagyl is that you CANNOT drink
alcohol while taking this medication. This includes alcohol based mouthwashes
and medications such as Nyquil. The warning would be on the prescription
bottle, but this time they really mean it. You will have a possibly severe
reaction with abdominal cramping, headaches, nausea, vomiting. You won't die,
but you may feel like it. I've seen this reaction more than once and
wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Be careful out there.
Back to hanging out and watching TV.
