Hi Val,

My favorite AT book is Blind Courage by Bill Irwin, I also enjoyed Jan
Curran books The Appalachian Trail: A Journey of Discovery and Onward to
Katahdin.  If your looking for a book with lots of pictures check out
Sojourn in the Wilderness by Kenneth Wadness.
