Cool data, Chainsaw. My book which is a little dated (1982). Says, -29
deg. at Monterey, 1899, also only a couple of miles from the AT. I have
penciled in the new data, thanks. Most snow in 24 hours, 33" (3-6-62)and
most in a single storm, 42 " (3-6-7-62). At Big Meadows, Shenandoah Nat'l
Park, also on the AT. It also says the hottest day, 110 deg. in 1954 was
at Balcony Falls, which the AT passes by too.
