Forest Regrowth Key to North American CO2 Sink
November 10 — The reforestation of farmland has played an important role in 
reducing the accumulation of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. A new study 
Science notes that this benefit will not continue 
indefinitely because the regrowth of forests will slow as they mature.
