A few years ago, I stayed at the shelter just north of Albert Mt.  When i
got up the next morning a mouse ran out of my pack.  It did not want to
leave.  I opened the pack and found a nest of 3 baby mice.  That momma
ruined two pairs of socks and a pair of underwear building her nest.
