Hey Sparrow
  I have to admit that your going to be hiking on the wrong trail then!  Go
hike the CDT if you want to get away from people.  I through hiked the AT in
97 and I hear there are twice as many people doing it every year now.  It's
pretty much impossible to avoid people on the AT.  I hiked the PCT this
year, even out there it was impossible.
