I love this! The 33 year-ish peak of the Leonids just might be this year.
Wait until Leo rises about 2 AM (all time zones, Leo rises at 2 on the East
Coast, 2 in Colorado, ect.)
In August at Baxter the Persid meteor shower coincided with a spectacular
show of the northern lights. One thru-hiker night-hiked to bag the summit was
treated to what must've been the most surreal end to a thru ever!
