Well It's my birthday today as well.

I had firmly decided to quit drinking and loose some weight since I am
getting soooo old.
Then my family took me out to a really nice restaurant for a good bottle of
wine and some
Maryland Crab cakes.  Someone mentioned that there was a birthday cake at
home which the
waitress overheard, so she brought us a nice cake to the table...gratis.  So
much for the resolutions.

Maybe I can walk it off next week.....on a 12 day hike across the
Shenandoah.
