[at-l] Damascus, Mt Rogers

Today I took a group of kids from church to Damascus and beyond to bike
on the Creeper.  

On the way back down the mountain I stopped by the va 601 parking area to
see if anyone wanted a ride down.  While there I checked the water. 
There was probably about 1-2" in the bottom of the concrete box.  It was
not running out the overflow pipe.  It was running in at a slow trickle. 
Of course in a few short weeks it will be frozen anyway.

Oh,  the colors are about peaked up there.  If a strong storm goes
therough in a few days the leaves will be gone for the most part
