Ummm, I remember. He did the approach trail on April 9 and started from 
Springer April 10 at about 8am on a nice sunny spring morning.  (Is that 
enough detail?)  

Yes, he is summitting a bit late, but there are a lot of hikers that are also 
with him. They hit some pretty crummy weather in PA and NJ , and then pretty 
much this same group also lost time with that bad storm in the Whites a few 
weeks back. They "close" Katahdin on October 15 but the rumor is that if you 
have a group and there is fair weather, they will let you climb. 

So..............................keep your fingers crossed and think "Class 1 
thoughts" everyone!
