It has never been clear to me where "ultralight" ends weight wise but that
45 pounds could probably be tuckerized to 30 pounds without any loss of
comfort or safety. Of course everyone gets to decide their own comfort and
safety level.

In hiking there is no special recognition given for speed, style or
finesse. There are only those that do the hike and those that don't.
