Baggage handling and delivery at Heathrow is the responsibility of the 
airlines from the point of check-in to the point of collection. If 
anything is left on an aircraft or an airline bus, the airline should be 
contacted immediately.
If a piece of hand baggage or any other item is left at a security search 
area or anywhere in the terminal, you can contact the relevant Information 
Desk on the day of loss only.

After 24 hours items of lost property are taken to the airport Lost Property 
Office.

7730. There is a storage charge for items reclaimed from the Lost Property

1600 on Saturdays and Sundays.
