Just read a related article at

that extolls the virtues of a fitting "system"
developed by a fellow named Phil Orens. For those of
us who can't make it to N.GA for our next pair of
boots, it might be worthwhile to seek out bootfitters
who have a "fitting education",
whether it be from structured system or from the
school of hard socks...
