[at-l] skunk spray on car

I have been unable to remove the yellow stain from my car paint. Have tried rubbing compound and the stain seems to be etched in the paint. Its a 1998 Acura TL and was washed about 10 hours after being sprayed by a skunk. The odor has gone but the stain remains splashed across the door panel and rear fender.Help!
