ps. Thanks for all the help on the Atlas search!  Maps are so great. Shows possibilites, and lets me wonder about the kind of trip I will be having next year. So far, looks like a mixture of poorly defined trails and small country roads with a fair amount of small villages for my walk through the Appenines. Sounds like the old AT....
