### Yes, it's been 3 weeks since I got back from the Long Trail hike with my
six year olds, but one small item I'd like to relate is the number of times I
voiced "David Horton did all this trail in (under) five days?!?!?" I would
usually voice this while trudging uphill at some impossible angle, maybe
boosting the kids up some slab of rock with a one-handed elevator shot on
their butt(s), or perhaps after coming to a dead stop staring across a
Olympic pool-length of thigh-deep mud, with dicey alternative footing along
the sides, or even while coming abruptly (but is there anything on the LT NOT
abrupt?) to a drop-off where I call out "HOLD IT!!!! Daddy goes in front
here, Boysenberries!"
Yeah, and then I'd think "David did this is WHAT?!?!?"

I LOVE YOU, MAN!

BTW, anyone up for an AT-stroll during the Gathering? Maybe Sunday AM?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Dee? Fall WILL be in the air!
