They say that right before it rains, the wind blows harder and the leaves
turn inside out. I've also experienced a calmness, no wind and the birds
quit chirping, the squirrels hide and the rabbits (sp?) disappear. The
smell? To me it's like a fresh "pure" smell. But then I like the smell of
dirt too.
