This whole wheelchair episode is pathetic. I hope someone documented the
   environmental damage that was done by the five people in wheelchairs. It
   had to be considerable.

   Of course, the fight was lost when AMC did not lead an effort to keep
   Galehead Hut from adding adaptations for the disabled. Now that the genie
   has been let out of the bottle, there will eventually be calls to modify
   the trail to the hut so that wheelchairs have easy access, and the courts
   will probably rule that the trail has to be modified.

   Will the AT community be able to oppose such efforts? No. The AT
community
   is too timid or lazy to do anything about it.
