I'm with The Toe on this.....what hapened to you guys had
naught to do with age.  A young hiker I know, made a calouse comment
about someone falling and gettting hurt.  I jumped on him, gently,
yeah right <g> nd told him I'd pay him 50 buck's if he made it to Maine 
without a memorable fall.  He's young, strong and well on his way to an
under 4 mo thru so I was starting to wonder if I should set aside
the money to pay off th bet when he told me that a combo of mud and
rain and a well placed root launched him on a spectacular face plant.
Only dumb luck kept him from severe injury.  His face hit the only
non granite space available with such force as to leave an impression
in the mud.  No one is immune..age has nothing to do with it...
