This is a good choice. I made several loaves of this for Toney and his
friend when they were getting ready for their Mt Hood expedition, and again
when they climbed Mt Whitney. (this means even *you* could make it, Skeeter,
'cause Betty Crocker I'm not). ;-) It is full of all sorts of good things
and very nutricious. The only problem with Logan Bread is the weight. It is
very dense, and one loaf weighs a lot. That didn't bother them too much, as
they were also packing climbing gear, and I think they are part mule. But
for plain ole backpacking, it's weight might outweigh (no pun intended) the
benefits. Maybe if you didn't take the whole loaf :-)
