[at-l] Hiking sticks

I have an honest to goodness stick that did the LT and the AT. It it is now retired, but it is good to know in this day and age of $100 "trekking poles", wood poles still do the job. 
The memories on that piece of wood...


Now I use ski poles, doubt I will wax poetic about them.
They are utilitarian, not keepsakes.
