Anyone with the sense of the absurd that this young man possesses would
most certainly be sucessful in any endeavor as absurd as a through-hike:
I expect he'll be ditching everything he can except the tuba and his
pack before he hits Springer. I still hate to admit even to myself a
couple of the items I carried from GA to ME way back when, and everytime
I look at them I repeat the mantra: Never Again...nonono nomatter how
much fun they provided....
