Re: [at-l] WF

Let's see now......last week I was a lurker on WF's list but after seeing his
demand, yes demand, that I write a letter using only his TP approved outline,
and then being told that I must meet his Sunday deadline or be thrown off his
list, I uns*bscribed on Saturday. Funny thing was that I really wanted to
write about Saddleback but needed to collect my thoughts first. Just
repeating what others had already said wouldn't have that much impact. I
needed to put into words what I felt in my heart was right. Protecting
Saddleback is more important then a self imposed deadline and I will still
write the letter, my letter, my way. Enough about the past.....

Like I said, that was last week, this week I start over. Can I pull up a log
by your campfire? The other fire went out long ago and it's getting chilly.
I've got marshmellows. Yea -- thats a bribe.

A little about me.
  I'm a 59 year old grandfather.
Wonderful wife (dayhiker but I think I'll keep her anyway)
My two oldest grandsons are beginning hikers.
I will retire in Feb 2005 and begin my thru that April.
Fully equipped with pack weight currently at 29 pounds plus F and W. Yes
Kahley, someday you can tuckerize.
