Re: [at-l] Stove fuel

I tried cooking a sample meal last night. One Esbit tab cooked at 10 min
Lipton dinner with dried turkey and veggies added. The pasta was not quite
done when the tab burned out, but I just let it sit for a few more min and
it turned out fine. That was the longest cooking dinner I plan on taking.
Besides Lipton's, I also have couscous, stove top, 5 min rice, ramen

I am going to budget 1 1/2 tabs per day. I revised my itinerary today the
longest between resuppley points is 7 days. So I'll carry 11 tabs at a
weight of 5.5oz.

Total cooking kit
stove 3.5oz
Titiuam pot 3.8oz
plastic cup .6oz
windshield 1.5 oz
spoon .4 oz
Lighter .6oz
Stuff sack .5oz

Total weight. 10.9oz Not to bad :D

Thanks everyone for your input
