Have heard two places, lastest Blue Ridge Mt Sports in Wooville, VA, that
all or some of the Pur filters were recalled because they "didn't filter".
They've also disappeared from several other outfitters.  Don't know truth,
but it seems to be a widespread phenom...

Skippie...who uses a Guardian Sweetwater and pumps away like a sailor with a
squeeze box accordion...
