Re: [at-l] Need info on 3 things

I have a Kmart fleece bag. It weighs 2#. Still even though my down bag
is only 3 oz more, in hot weather the fleece is more comfortable. A few
weekends ago I slept in the fleece bag at 56 deg inside a fire tower. I
was a bit chilly. The night before it was 60 deg I was in the open
(actually laying on the cliff edge of Mcafees Knob). I got a bit chilly
that night too, even pulled my Nomade tent over top of me when it
sprinkled rain for a few minuets. The Nomad blocked the wind but a lot
of condensation formed where it was laying on me. For $20. the Kmart
fleece bag is a nice purchase. It has full length rap around zipper to
open as a blanket. There is no outside liner just about 200 weight
fleece
Areas around Roan are noted for vandalism. Someone local can fill you
end better about that.
I think with silcloth material grommets are not as strong as loops if
sewn properly. I believe I heard the family sew master say that.
