I bought one from llbean.  It's great in warm weather. It's much small
and lighter than my down sleeping bag. an very soft.  and has a nylon
outer cover.  not sure about temps , tho.  If there has ever been
doubt, I bring the down.

It is if you ever want to string it up as a rain shelter or as a
wind/weather guard for the entrance to a shelter (especially in the
smokies)

The one I carry is one of those emergency blankets. It small, light
weight, with grommets and CAN be used for a blanket (as designed) if
needed. All this for $10!
