Is it like "Woods" where he uses actual people and makes fun of their
disabilities or eccentricities, giving names and towns they live in? Or
did he learn from his past mistake.
My one literary friend (two published books, used to proof read them for a
publisher), doesn't share your praise for Bryson's writing ability, btw.
Hike Yer Own Hike, Read Yer Own Books, Enjoy Yer Own Brand of "humor" too, I
guess. (sadistic humor has never been funny to me, though)
