sure there is.  southbound just means 'bound for points further south.'
northbound means 'bound for points further north.'  neither word implies
direction of travel at a given instant.  you can be walking north and still
'bound for points further south, just not heading there right now, thanks
for asking'.... and vice versa.

and what was pokey's original trail name?  it changed in the 100 mile
wilderness.  it's on the tip of my tongue and i can't quite remember it.

i have a photo of weathercarrot taken at sonora pass on the 4th o' july w/e.
when i get around to e-mailing it to felix, he'll post it.  he's doing great
but concerned about his weight loss.
