Those words all seem normal to me. They're words that I either grew up
using in Mississippi or heard from David's grandparents in West Virginia and
later incorporated. None of them were words with which I was unfamiliar. I
thought everybody understood them. A couple of them, we used a bit
differently, like "shed" always had "get" in front of it: Get shed of that
old sweater, and we'll buy a new one. I use "fixing to" every day. How
does the rest of the world express themselves? :^) Leslie
