I use "MEGA" for the directionally challenged hikers, and "GAME" for the
hikers 'walking with spring.' But I'm beginning to like SOBO and NOBO :O)

It is GA to ME or ME to GA. I have hiked both GA to ME and ME to GA.
The trail is the same both ways, it goes up the hills, down the hills and
around the hills; over briges, on rocks, thru creeks and in a canoe; thru
towns, around towns and thru a zoo; thru fields of grass, wildflowers or
cows; some times you hike south to go north or north to go south; you hike in
the sun, shade, rain, or snow and maybe thru a hurricane; you sleep in
shelters, tents, hostels, motels and under the stars; you may see deer,
skunks, snakes, bears, porcupines, beavers, or moose; water may be easy or
hard to find; the bottom line is: Enjoy what ever way you go, however long
you can hike.
Wildbill, GA to ME 1989 and GA to ME to GA 1992-3
