Yup. That's the one ~ I recognized the "~tdeagan".
I just reread the whole enchilada, and although it's been modified (and some
facts/findings removed, but some redundant stuff curiously added...) since I
first came across it, there's lots of great stuff there. I would encourage
everyone to read it and know it. But here's a caution, too: if you read it
while posing the question "Is there anything different about the status of
AT/backcountry water sources in the last 20-120-220 years?" you may decide
that there *isn't*, and end up tuckerizing that filter/whatever out of your
pack...... Just a thought, before you go explore.
