OH, The HORROR stories I could tell!!!

But I won't unless you really want them. 

You did the right thing getting to the doctor, and he did the right
thing giving you the meds. If for know other reason, then to just be
cautious! Lyme can almost always be cured, if found early. But wait to
long, oh the HORROR stories!!

As for the shots, well, get all the info before getting stuck in the
arm, three times, and it looks like MORE now, little do they want to
tell you:^). There's two different types of vaccines now, but there
pretty much the same thing. 

AND, if your still with me, deer ticks don't mind crossing state
boarders! Maybe their using the AT trail system? Think I'll go hunt for
some this weekend! (ticks that is, not deer:^).

On another note: If anyone on the list would like more info on Lyme
Disease, I'm pretty sure that my wife, Landslides@webtv.net , would be
more then happy to help. She has learned soooooo much in the last few
years!!
