Just a little ole note to say "howdy".  

Dropped Nina off in Providence yesterday for her bus trip to Maine. She should be in Baxter State Park today and will be climbing the Big K (hopefully) tommorow.  She is excited, nervous, happy, and anxious..all at the same time. :D

 On a personal note, I was not able to bring her to Maine due to my grandfather's funeral. It was not unexpected, and  I am cosoled at the fact that he is now at peace after a long illness. My youngest brother flew in from Texas on emergency leave from the Air Force. My grandfather was a combat veteran of WW2,and was given a military funeral. It was espicially nice that my brother was  able to present the flag in his "dress blues" to my grandmother.    
 
Well,back to Colorado this Saturday after way too much eating.. (oof!).
