[at-l] Platypus life

Coosa,

I don't expect too much in the way of longevity from the platypus. I bought
my first at Neel's Gap and it cracked and leaked in short order. By the time
I got to Hot Springs the company already had two replacements waiting for me
in a mail drop.

The next one I cared for as if it were a water balloon and it made it to
Pennsylvania. (The company replaced that one too.) By that point I had
decided that it was safer to carry my trusty, albeit heavy Nalgene for the
near certainty of no leaks in the sleeping bag, and a Gatorade bottle for my
second liter.

YMMV

Good hiking,
