[at-l] Norwalk Virus

The ATC's state-by-state trail reports lists an outbreak of Norwalk Virus on
the trail from Pearisburg to SNP. (It says this nasty bug, spread by sharing
food or water or even shaking hands, causes diarrhea and vomiting for a
week). I have not seen any reference to this in the hiker journals posted
from this season, so I am thinking this is LAST YEAR's outbreak, even though
the posting date on the web appears as 2/13/00. Anybody have any information
on this?
