hi everyone. cheerio and i are both bunked out at the hike inn tonight and 
she loaned me her palm pilot. hey these things are neat--once youve 
compressed yourfingers a bit.  ran into baltimorejack and his jim beam at 
noc, told him and everyone else about hopefuls bday--happy bday hopeful--but 
passed through stacoah at 9 am myself ans had an itch to go on.  was guided 
by two coon dogs till cable gap where some friendly day hikers distracted 
them with salami so they would nt follow all the way into fontana.  the 
nantahlas are magnificent, i kept meaning to camp but couldnt stop 
walking--woods smell incredible at night--ended up at fontana hilton at 8 
30--am trying to slow down but the smokies are calling--am hoping to have a 
little passover blessing on top of clinmans--mom sent grapejuice and 
chocolate matzoh.  man,nc does not believe switch backs--the have switch ups 
instead.  pleasepass on to the womens and at lists.  thanks.  happy spring 
passover easter full moon trillium time to all!!!!!  ej
