[at-l] ALDHA's Gathering 2000 Info

The 19th annual Gathering of Long Distance Hikers was discussed at ALDHA’s
annual spring meeting in April. Headlining this year’s event on Columbus Day
Weekend October 6 - 9 will be “Worldwalker” Steve Newman and singer /
songwriter / photographer “Walkin’ Jim” Stoltz. Jim will open on Friday
night with his combination slide show and songfest, while Steve will hold
center court on Saturday night. Rounding out the evening programs on Sunday
will be “Nimblewill Nomad,” who plans to interrupt his Canada-to-Key West
trek to attend the Gathering.  Plus more workshops that you can imagine.
