Alias: Ben Curtis
Where: Duxbury, Vermont. Just over the hill from Phil
Smith and a few miles south of The Old Ridge
Runner.
Favs: Anywhere in the Pemigewasset Wilderness of New
Hampshire. Climbing mountains, or wading
streams with a fly rod.
Age: 40, when I was in my thirties I worried about
pay raises and advancement, but after hiking
2000 mi. of the At last summer "I'm younger
than that now".
Status:Still lookin' for that elusive hiker babe.
Habits:Hiking, fishing(ice and open water), hunting,
and skiing.
Where's the money come from? Engineer at IBM. (for
now)
Pad: Full length LE Thermarest. I'm gonna try a
Z-rest when I get my G4 pack, but I'm
skeptical.
Shelters: Nomad (still on order), or a log cabin on 35
acres in central Vermont.
Sex: All I have to say is :D
Race: Hey, I'm not the competitive type.
Cooks: Venison, moose. Perch, or bullhead fillets,
shaked in corn meal/cayenne pepper/seasoned
salt, the fried in butter. mmmmmmmmmmm
Music: Blues, folk, bluegrass. (I loved WBRF in Galax
VA when I was in range last summer)
Reads: Much too little.
AT: A little over an hour south to the Inn at the
Long Trail via VT routes 100 and 4, or 5 days
via the Long Trail.
